The blue carpenter bee (Xylocopa caerulea) is a large, vibrant insect with striking blue coat of fuzz. Native to regions across Southeast Asia, India, and Southern China, they are peaceful, solitary pollinators rather than hive builders.

Beautifully mounted in our small frame.
